Description
The Tiber Marina Recreation Area, which includes the Tiber Marina Campground and the Ru's Tiber Marina complex, is located on the east shore of Lake Elwell (Tiber Reservoir), about 22 km southwest of Chester, in north-central Montana. This site is popular for sport fishing, water activities, and sunsets.
The campground offers various services:
- Sites with services: Paid sites with water and electricity hookups are available by reservation.
- Primitive sites: Free rustic sites are scattered along the water or on the cliffs, based on a first-come, first-served basis. Lakeside spots are highly sought after and fill up quickly.
The maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive days.
The marina's general store, open from May to September, offers supplies, fishing gear, as well as kayak and paddleboard rentals. Paid hot showers, an RV dump station, trash containers, and a fish cleaning station are also available. Dogs are allowed on a leash.
