Rex Hale Campground is a well-maintained forest campground, offering 30 sites managed by the US Forest Service in Shoshone National Forest, Wyoming. Located at an elevation of 1,860 meters, the campground is situated along the North Fork Shoshone River, along the scenic Buffalo Bill Scenic Byway (US 14/16/20), 36 miles west of Cody and 16 miles from the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is an economical option for visiting the park. Respect nature and local regulations, and remember to leave the area clean.
