Description
Six undefined sites in the bed of Fish Creek, in the most remote and lowest area of the park (about 85 m in altitude). The natural sandy road requires a high-clearance 4x4 vehicle -- not recommended for any large RV or two-wheel drive vehicle. Pit toilet and fire pits on site, but no water. Classic starting point for the Wind Caves and the badlands of Split Mountain. Current official rate: $20 US/night for self-payment (several third-party guides still describe it as free, to be confirmed).
